I bought this for my chihuahua and it's the perfect size for her and even my cat when she hops over to her mate. But what about the disassembly. Well, that's when you tare it. Remove the small tent poles that fit into 8 or 9 slots to expand it. and the little chopsticks are 2 pieces with a very weak elastic that holds them together when you pull them out and also allows them to fold in half for storage in a playpen bag. I just don't think they'll hold together long before they need to be replaced. and it's so troublesome to slide them in or out to roll up the playpen every time they're used, and then get unaccustomed to doing it again. Guess if you have space to leave it extended anytime it's not that bad. However, we use it and it's definitely light and easy to move around.
