No regrets. I bought this to install with a ProClip mount that was designed for my machine. The combination works great. The iBolt miniPro comes with the nuts and bolts needed to mount to any standard AMPS surface. The iBolt firmly holds the Note 8 in an upright/portrait position. I use a very thin case and the iBolt miniPro has enough room for a large phone. I was concerned about the ball mount prior to purchase but it seems to hold up well and prevent the phone from sagging even on rough roads. However, I can rotate the ball mount if I want to switch to landscape/landscape.
