Review on πŸ”§ Tronex Chainmaille Pliers - Stubby Flat Nose with Long Ergonomic Handles (Product Code P747) by Aaron Schultz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but worth it if you post a lot.

Edit: I will buy a second pair despite the high price. If you spend a lot of time with a pair of pliers, they are worth the cost. The first thing to look for in these pliers is the price. You can get multiple sets of pliers elsewhere for $60. However, these are GOOD. I've been using them on chainmail to open/close rings for a few days now and I find them a lot easier to use than any other pliers I have. The flat short nose next to the loop is perfect for improving my grip and preventing the rings from slipping off me while I'm working them. The automatic re-opening mechanism is a bit more powerful and I can tweak it a bit manually as it opens the pliers further than I need for my current project, but that's not a disadvantage either. Finally, the handles are BIG, very good in terms of ergonomics. I have blisters on my left hand, if I use another pair of pliers at the same time as this one in my right hand, I'll seriously consider buying another one.
