My god how easy it is to lose hooks! I'm not sure where they're all hiding anyway, so I bought this set and kept them safe in the included canvas bag when not in use. Real hooks are well shaped and smooth, so crocheting is efficient. . According to the product description, the handles are soft and suitable for hands with arthritis. I doubt that assessment as the grip isn't very soft, with nine differently sized lugs made from the base plastic protruding through the soft cover, defeating the purpose. They are ergonomic if your hands are big enough. Hourglass shaped, they're a bit big for my hands (small and arthritic) but that doesn't slow me down too much.
