We have an old Panasonic TV and right out of the box I checked which remote control would work for it. This one does. So it was pretty sweet. The buttons are decently well-placed and how we would use them. I'm taking off a star because I sometimes find the remote less responsive than I'd like. For example, I like to turn the volume down quickly, but this one will only turn the volume down one notch at a time, and pressing the button too quickly will miss a few key presses and only down every 3-4 presses). True, I push it pretty fast. It's just a little annoying.
