The headlights fit snugly in my 1969 Ford F-250 bumper hole which is 1.25 inches. Lanterns have flexible protrusions placed around the perimeter. to hold them in place except where there is a gap to place a tab in the bumper hole which will align the lights properly and prevent them from rotating. There are two wires, one for voltage and one for ground .I used the white wires to connect to voltage with dielectric grease and crimp the ring terminal to the brown ground wires with license plate screws. The light emitted is a typical pure white LED and not too bright in my opinion.
