I love it so far! - Parts

My dad always put K&N on all his cars. I'm here too. I have a 2014 Nissan Sentra SV (2013-2016 will be the same, B17). Installation: Very easy. Open the hood. Insert socket. Open the plastic. Remove two fasteners. Pull out the filter. Insert a new one. Put it back in. Fasten it. Put the plastic tube back on. Put on the rubber bushing. Did. It took about 4 minutes. Sound: More hoarseness expected. But those were my high expectations. Maybe, just maybe, maybe a different engine tone. Performance: Ten or fifteen minutes driven, city and highway. Felt about the same. Being a CVT, I seem to have slightly better throttle response at 25-45mph. The best way to explain this is less lag. MPG: We have to inform you. Overall I'm happy with it. I needed a new filter, why not K&N? The car will last a lifetime. Of course the reload kit costs a little but like I said my dad has K&N in his cars so there is always a kit and I plan to put K&N in my future cars. This is not a problem. Also, less waste goes to landfill. Win/Win It's also nice that you "modified" your machine. I wish it came with an extra decal for your car or whatever, similar to how Dynojet has their motorcycle swing arm decals.
