I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
If you have something like this, a corded vacuum cleaner is entirely unneeded. I am very happy with the purchase, since the charge is always sufficient for cleaning, and if you put it back up on the wall after you use it, it will recharge.
