Can cause fire when working with supplied intake and exhaust manifolds.
The pump worked properly. The main problem with the inlet and outlet elbows is that they can leak when lateral force is applied from the side of the hose. On my third ride after installing the pump, the intake sucked in air, and the exhaust blew out a large o-ring, causing a large leak. Luckily my ignition didn't catch fire from the gasoline. Intake and exhaust manifolds replaced with original OMC. This fixed the problem.
