When I first received these boots they looked and fit well before I used them. I first tried them on while on a beach vacation in Outer Banks, North Carolina. I am very disappointed and upset. I can't use them. The first time I use it, I can't unpack the right boot at all. I even had friends who tried to help untie the boot but couldn't untie the boot. I thought I would have to cut my foot out of the boot. With great effort and frustration, I was able to get the boot out without cutting it open to take it off. get out of the way altogether. You still can't unzip it. Your first mission. This is madness! I have Raynaud shoes and I absolutely need diving boots and gloves so my hands and feet don't get unusually cold in the water. I planned plenty of time for this holiday to be in the water which is still cold at this time of year. As a diver since 1993 and an avid water sports enthusiast I am VERY disappointed in these "Mares" boots. I will return them.
