Review on πŸ’¦ Bathroom with Direct Connect Water Capacity Boost by Sarah Moore

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The good the bad and the ugly.

Review after one year of active use in an old, densely built up residential area with suspected illegal shared plumbing/supplemental chlorine supply in a neighboring unit following a water outage and heavy noisy plumbing throughout the day. The quality of the water after the work carried out, according to the results of water tests and the sensations during washing, showed a noticeable increase in the chlorine content - a meanness made public by commoners. Reliant on the quality of a good filter, many encounter similar situations when dealing with less than ruthless HOAs or "neighbors". Good - Easy to install, Teflon included to prevent leaks - Slim form factor and plastic bracket make installation easy - Water tastes reasonably clean, but depending on chlorine levels it still leaves a fishy, unpleasant aftertaste - Filtration persists after more than a year of use, although there is an aftertaste - after-sales service tries to solve problems but is not always sufficient Poor water flow reduces to about half or less within a few weeks after installation. Remains at this level after a year of use. Maybe it's just the fact that the filtration is active (allusion to fake PUR filters versus real water flow). - Replacement element looks slightly used/damaged. "Spring water" as claimed but comes close - Leaves "useful" minerals in the water - What else does it leave in the water - Peace of mind Questionable ugliness - Many fellow citizens who through no fault of their own still can't afford pure, safe tap water, from their ruthless HOAs, fellow citizen "neighbors"(? )
