These are good rivets and they work great for my project. The barrel length is listed as 1/2", but new rivets have a barrel length of 3/4". This is explained in CI's comment regarding grip length versus measured length. In other words, although the new rivets are 3/4" in diameter, once installed they are only 1/2" long. Hope this helps someone. NOTE: The shank is 1/8" in diameter and will not work with many common riveting tools (such as a hand tool). Check yours before you buy.
