I am an avid, experienced knitter. I'm used to using regular cheap aluminum hooks you can find in stores. My hands get tired and I get cramps when I crochet. I bought a few in different sizes - the bamboo handles are amazing! They take the heat off my hand and reflect it back so my hands don't hurt. The hook is light and the handle is a little wider than the normal aluminum hook, so more convenient! The head of the hook is "sawtooth" shaped rather than rounded. the other - I'm still thinking (I know. You'd think I would have made up my mind after 14 years of crocheting, but I never did). I've tried putting together a full set of these but can't seem to find multiple sizes - wish I could find them all in one big set. I just found a set of 14 for about $40 at S&H which is a little cheaper than buying them for about $5 a hook, but that's on an outside site (not Amazon) and I'm picky , from whom I buy. - for safety reasons. I hope Revain starts selling these sets soon! I definitely recommend this product! Happy crocheting!
