Get the Zwave Plus module instead of the August module

I have no complaints about Yale or this Assure model. As a stand alone lock it works great. And here is the August module. and customer service in August. Person. What a nightmare. I bought it in February 2019, it is now November 2019. The lock did not work with Google Home and did not connect to the WiFi bridge. Customer call #1 - reboot, factory reset, etc. Nothing works. Number 2 - they sent the August block as a replacement but it still doesn't work. Number 3, they sent me a replacement lock! but the lock was the wrong color. Call #4. Wait again for the correct color to appear. Number 5, blocking ok, was always ok, connection problem. Call number 6, we'll finally find out what the problem is. I have a MESH WiFi network and it DOES NOT WORK WITH THE MESH NETWORK. Excuse me? We're talking 2019, I use Google WiFi and it's amazing. Good. So I go and borrow another router and amp from a friend just to be sure this time. Guess - DOESN'T WORK, piece of junk hardware, only works with certain 2.4 routers, I've never experienced such AAA hardware instability before. Instead, I ordered the ZWave Plus module and added the lock to the Samsung SmartThings app. It works, I can add codes, I can set up auto-lock (and auto-unlock - which August doesn't do when the door is open. You need an external door sensor for that, but it gives you a lot more control - like the light at night switch on when the door is open), I can of course lock and unlock it. Cons - No integration with Google Home (at least for now) when adding a lock via Zwave. But then again, I couldn't do it with the August module either, as it wouldn't connect. (EDIT November 22nd) I figured out how to connect to Google Home. Add lock action to google assistant scene and tiger scene. Since I'm all about "good night" and closing the door, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MESH NETWORK AT HOME and your home WiFi is on 2.4GHz, it's over for me - avoid it like fire .
