Poor quality: line filter

Lasted a few months then accidentally broke the switch. Strange because we never used the switch but found it in the on position with no power one morning. The power turns on when we hold down the switch, but doesn't stay on. Update, a company representative contacted me about a malfunction. They were kind enough to send a replacement. I'm not sure if it would be better, but it was a good gesture.
