At first I thought it was a good cable for the money but I had to edit my review. For repairing some lower end bikes this cable will do, but for a few bucks more you can probably get a much better quality cable. I've been in the bike shop for over 40 years and I still fix a few bikes for friends. This cable feels a little "soft" and I expect it to stretch more than I'd like. I also found the cable processing to be a bit lacking, as there were errors in the cable routing that probably caused some resistance inside the cable housing. This cable will do, but next time I'll spend a little more for a better quality cable.
