These take the hassle out of pool filter maintainance. No more cleaning out the skimmer and the filter pump and backwashing the sand filter. I do still backwash once a month but it’s just to verify. These skimmer socks catch everything! Every little thing! They don’t increase the suction of your pump and have only noticed pump psi increase of 1psi when really dirty. I usually check every other day and pull out the big stuff like leaves and bugs. They can be washed out with in reverse with a hose but they are so inexpensive I’ve just been tossing them when they won’t come clean. Really the best option for pool filtration and they still work if you have a skimmer tab in the basket.
