Be careful not to return a defective product

Bought for my 1 year old granddaughter. The packaging has been opened, but the product itself has no visible damage. I sent a gift and my son blew it up but was surprised when it started to deflate quickly. He covered the product with a film of soap to find the hole and held it under water, but he didn't see any bubbles. It is now too late to return the item or request a refund. I'm sure it's a great product but be careful of leaks.
