I'm new to Cold Brew Coffee and I tried this coffee maker based on the reviews and the type of filter used. I'm sooo impressed with it! This is a VERY sturdy pitcher - just the right size for multiple servings. If you follow the brewing instructions, you won't have any problems. Absolutely NO sludge leakage. No! The mesh filter is very thin, but cleans perfectly with just a quick rinse. The jug looks very neat and fits perfectly on your fridge door. I deviated from instructions that suggest adding water and then adding a coffee strainer. In the last batch I made, I added my coffee, then slowly poured water into the filter until it was full, then poured the water into the pitcher. I guarantee all your coffee will be rich. I definitely recommend this coffee maker!
