Review on Edelbrock 8005 HARDWARE KIT by Bruce Cavett

Purchased for a Ford 289 V8 that we rebuilt with an Edelbrock Performer 289 header and Edelbrock 500cfm 4-barrel carburetor. I figured this item would make it easier to hook up the carburetor to the existing accelerator pedal port. There are no easy adjustments - this kit did not help the case. Keep in mind that this is a generic part - you can only use a few of these as every manifold and connection arrangement is different. Looking back, I would not have bought this item.
