broken scissors good as long as they last
They fit my 3 year old perfectly for a few months but they broke in two after less than 9 months of normal use. The plastic holding the two handles is cracked. We have a pink pair that is still holding so I'm wondering if there is a defect in the blue one as there are other reviews of blue scissors breaking the same way. Westcott offers a 5 year guarantee but I have to return the shears which costs more than buying a new pair. Needless to say we buy another brand.
