Back away from the keyboard!

Thinking about buying? AWAY FROM KEYBOARD! I gave the seller a four with a plus. Shipped quickly, well packaged. When I called they picked up the phone, politely listened to my complaint and offered replacement parts. Of course, since I bought the kit, it's mine. There is no going back and frankly I understand that. I opened the box, installed everything I could, buyers beware etc etc. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS against the seller. I give the product a D-. I have to give them a 5. That sucks, but they get points for the nice box and the color printer instructions. This is simply the best product art. The product is POORLY MADE, COTTON, and a POOR FIT. They sent instructions for a 2007 Wrangler, I have a 2010. Maybe that's why the landing is so bad, but I highly doubt it. I find the fit so bad because it is so poorly made. I took the headlight caps by the pillars and put them on the headlight. and bent it. Remember that a jeep has a soft plastic body and the metal succumbed before the plastic. It really speaks volumes about strength and durability. Luckily none of the four WW3 welds broke, they just bent because a real weld is as soft as solder. Ouch. Waiting. It's probably soldered. After carefully folding it back, I went ahead and installed it. Installation was pretty easy, 4 screws, remove the existing ring and install the new one. Not bad. Too bad it bends if you look at it too closely. I have to make it look like a cute puppy or I'm afraid they'll be rolled up in balls of molten metal. pot metal. What are they made of. These parts are "looks only" folks. All glitter, no substance. The turn signal covers are so bad that only two of the three "bend to fit" grommets would actually hook into the body without resorting to a pair of pin piers to remake the damn thing. Yes, you read it right. No screws, no machine work. "Just bend these little hickeys until they squeeze your light really hard. They remain activated. Truth. trust us Aren't they pretty?" The instructions are clearly wrong and I'm not going to drill out the rivets in the fenders to get at the side lights. The best part of the kit are the tail light covers, they are stamped sheet metal and shine with a black Krylon -Rattle being painted. NOT what I expected but at least they fit. The paintwork is pretty bad. I'm in Texas. It doesn't rain often here but I'll bet you ten bucks they'll be done in a month will show rust. Headlights, taillights and turn signals took about an hour to install, maybe a little longer. I've never installed side markers. The only reason they're still in my jeep is because I'm so frustrated with wasting them Hour of my life is that i can never get them back i go to 4wheelparts to buy REAL parts and i will pay them to take this crap away and threw it i n the trash can. The seller is fine. Product? DO NOT BUY THIS! It's a waste of $140. And an hour of your life. Keep searching. you can do better
