One of the reasons I always buy Alpine is because it's like the old Hertz sales slogan: There's Alpine and there's not. This module works great and I agree with the reviews here: It works great for Alpine. For others? Not really. The only problem for me was that the instructions aren't as clear as they should be. For Alpine users, there is a yellow instruction box that mentions connecting the module to an Alpine remote output, which can be confusing as my Alpine IVE-W530 requires a remote cable (blue/white) AND a remote output cable ( white/brown) has . Connect the module's remote control cable (green) to the Alpine remote control cable (blue/white). Follow the connection instructions in the user guide, not the yellow box, and you're done. My block is completely bypassed and works with no issues.
