I used to buy another harness and my cat hated it, but then I saw this one and decided to try again. When I put this on him for the first time (much lighter than the other) he lay down but then started walking in it and seemed very comfortable in it. Now I dress him up for an hour or two every night and then we take a little walk around the house so he gets used to the leash too. Tonight was his best! I didn't even have to pull to follow me. I just kept talking to him and he followed me. So pretty. I wish I had my phone out so I could take some photos. Anyway, I'm so surprised he did well. Repetition is everything! We haven't gone outside yet, but as soon as we have nice weather we'll give it a try in my secluded fenced backyard and see how it goes! My boyfriend is about 13 pounds so I got a large one and it fits him perfectly! UPDATE: We finally made it outside and I'll be damned if he doesn't unbuckle his seat belt and run straight for the back door. At least he wasn't trying to hide somewhere in my yard. I am so disappointed. He walked on it so well when we were in the house. It was perfect for him. I even tried the medium to see if it would keep him in the harness but that didn't happen. I don't know if there is a harness that can contain a cat. I'm sad it didn't work out for him because I think he would like to go for short walks but I can't risk it since it happened. I love the way this pendant is made and was perfectly happy to wear it around the house for hours. Maybe going outside woke him up too much. I can muster up the courage to try again in my remote fenced backyard just to see. I thought he would enjoy walking on the grass and smelling the air. Cats are definitely different than dogs!
