I've heard a lot of good things about them and having recently lost a couple of bottles off the back of my bike I've decided to replace the old carbon frames I have installed. Also, I just bought the Xlab Mezzo Cage Pod which is black so I figured they would go well together. Sure, they worked well on the treadmill, but the real challenge was the outdoor ride. On my first ride I lost both bottles because I started after a few moderate hits. The capsule was quickly swallowed up by storm drains after being lost due to some minor bumps. My clean bottle got lost on the descent and on a slight bump. Luckily I trotted up the hill to pick it up. After 2x $70 on cages, a $10 capsule and $50 (tubes, levers, extensions, multi-tool) I lost $200 on gear. I could easily leave the old cells and get the same result. What a damn disappointment. Pros: They hold most bottles very firmly and securely. Cons: They don't interfere with bottle launch.
