Update: I've had it for 18 months now. It still looks new. I wash it in the dishwasher sometimes, but I usually hand wash it. When used correctly, it hardly sticks. Heat until empty, then add the oil and wait for the oil to heat up. That is the difference. The sides are tall enough to stew in but short enough to use as a frying pan. It can use metal utensils. The lid handle stays cool enough. The lid is very dense, thick at the bottom and up on the sides. Bought for an induction burner. My other pans only heat the middle half, but this pan distributes the heat evenly almost to the rim. Like all stainless steel pans, you have to heat them empty and then wait for the oil to heat up before using them or they'll stick. The instructions don't recommend washing it in the dishwasher, but that's fine because it's easy to clean.
