Purchased with Daymaker LED headlight to improve night driving on a 1982 Honda XL500. I was expecting it to take a bit of creativity to make it work. Prime delivery arrived on time this morning. The inner packaging was really quite strange. It was clearly a used box wrapped in several layers of orange tape. The bucket was undamaged and came with the expected brackets and wire clips. It is made by simple embossing and the matte black color looks quite understated. In contrast, the mounts appear to be glossy powder coated. With some minor modifications I was able to bolt the brackets to the original headlight brackets to get the extra clearance needed and all the old wiring was able to get into the bucket. Generally worth the money even if you need to repaint in winter.
