My lungs are important, but I don't have much money so I can't afford $500 dust collection systems. or dry intake for high efficiency purposes. It is ideal for sanding dirt from drywall. Compared to filters from other brands or even traditional "white" dust bags, there is a significant difference in the reduction of airborne dust when used. I've tried a few, so trust me, there's nothing quite like it in this price range. They typically sell for $8.94 at Revain. Prices in store $14-17. I only buy them cheaper here and stock them up. I also wear a reusable 3M Half Facepiece 7500 respirator with a set of filters. I wear Quad P-100 filters. Dust can't get into my lungs through them. Tip: 1. After installing the bag, seal both sides of the filter bag carton opening with clean tape on the vacuum tank, because sometimes it may come off. (very bad when this happens) 2. If you feel like they are clogged, take the vacuum outside and lower it to the ground about 2-6 inches) or shake the bag a little. This will loosen the dust stuck in the pores of the bag. It also extends the life and capacity of the bag. I used to throw them away when they got clogged even though they were only half full. Now I can use it even longer. Comment: I prefer hard vacuum cleaners, but I'm not sure if they are suitable for hard vacuum cleaners. Shopvac 12 gallon heavy duty bags are good too and cheap, they're probably better than these 5-8 gallon bags.
