I rarely leave reviews because I think a low rating is usually a sign of anger or complacency. But THIS thing is a classic POS. Looks reasonable but is only plastic and not very durable. Worse, MUCH worse, the pattern on the metric brass fittings for holding the license plate screws did NOT match. They were up to 1/4 inch off. I drilled through my new license plate but it still did NOT fit when I tried to install a $25 license plate cover. I just couldn't drill, file and install all three. elements together without destroying one part or the other, simply because the hole pattern on this holder did NOT match standard US license plate drilling. I struggled for hours (literally) to drill, file and install the set but ended up with an in the end the fitting just twisted in soft plastic and fell to the floor. Very disappointing. There are no complaints against the seller, but this product just doesn't cut it. Make the fitting out of ALUMINUM and PREPARE the license plate hole and I would pay FOUR times that to get something solid and fit.
