Review on 🚙 Carbpro 541-0765 141-0983 Carburetor: Perfect Replacement for Marquis HGJ Series Onan RV Generator (5500 Grand Marquis Gold HGJAB-901D) by Monty Barganier

Carburetor purchased to replace 5.5 HGJAB-1038C. The removal and installation was pretty easy and there are 2 good videos on You Tube showing how to do it. The generator started and ran normally "immediately" after installation and under full load.; HOWEVER the next day the generator starts but only runs for a few seconds and has error code #37 which could be one of several things. I took the RV to Onan Cummings' local authorized repair shop who immediately diagnosed the problem as a bad carburetor that was new. Onan wanted over $540 for an OEM install, but I politely declined. But this particular product failed immediately and I spent another $100 on diagnostics at Onan's store.
