Carburetor came out of the box with no adjustments. After the initial refueling sequence starts immediately and starts immediately every time. No adjustments required, cylinder temperatures were within range and the same on both cylinders. The exhaust gas temperature is ideal and the O2 value indicates the ideal mixture setting.

After my alternator had not started for about 6 months it would not start. After searching the internet, I found that the problem was most likely the carbs. I found this replacement for the Revain for about a third of the price of the Onan. I ordered it, received it in a few days, screwed it on and now I'm fine.

A carburetor problem was diagnosed so we bought and installed this replacement. Pretty easy installation. The generator still didn't work. Took it to an authorized workshop. They rely on OEM. The generator works great. For political reasons, they didn't say if it was a bad carburetor, but they said the installation went well.

Only used once for 7 days, worked great. I will update this if there are any changes. Great value given the power of the Pacific in Bakersfield, California wanted to charge me $930 to install a new one. I cannot recommend this carburetor above. Month. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with my purchase. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about buying a secondary carburetor from him for my onan generator. What about the carburetor I could fit was quite easy, my alternator started right after filling. I'm doing a primitive hike this weekend and the generator has been running for 72 hours with no problems. Carburetor purchased to replace 5.5 HGJAB-1038C. The removal and installation was pretty easy and there are 2 good videos on You Tube showing how to do it. The generator started and ran normally "immediately" after installation and under full load.; HOWEVER the next day the generator starts but only runs for a few seconds and has error code #37 which could be one of several things.
