Review on Eco-Friendly Kitchen Sponge: Biodegradable Natural Scrub Pads for Dishes, Non-Scratch Sponge, Cleaning Kitchen Scrubbers with Cellulose & Coconut by Alma Carter

Revainrating 2 out of 5

SO CLOSE but big design flaw: Works well for a two piece sponge.

I was very happy to discover these eco-friendly sponges. They work well, on par with most cellulose sponges, and the washcloth is great. However, after using 3 sponges from 2 different boxes, they each failed in exactly the same way within 2 weeks of moderate use: The scrubber completely detached from the sponge (see photo). The scrubber is quite small and difficult to use on its own, although the bare sponge still works as expected. However, I didn't pay the premium price for it. I suggest avoiding this until they fix the design (the scrubber is MUCH stiffer than a sponge, stressing and separating the seams). Support responded to my request, so +1 star for that.
