Review on 🥞 Right-Handed Original Pancake Welding Hood by Matt Welch

If you are unfamiliar with pancake toppings, this may seem a bit odd. The pancake cover prevents light coming in from behind when welding outdoors or at night when there are work lights that create annoying glare. This helps the welder see his work better. The design also prevents fumes from accumulating in the hood and protects the welder from potentially harmful fumes from burning scale, paint or anti-corrosion protection on the pipe (or structure). The Original Pancake brand hood is more flexible and less likely to break than other brands that use balsa inserts to secure the headphones. Cons: 1> Difficult if not impossible to replace this brand's eyecup. So if it breaks, it's probably easier to send it back to the manufacturer for repair. 2> only available in yellow or black. I took yellow and painted. It would be nice to see Original Pancake bonnets in white, red, grey, blue, camouflage and green. IMHO.
