Review on πŸ”‹ Energizer Max 9V Batteries: Superior Premium Alkaline Power (2 Battery Count) by Tony Cohen

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I am ordering 9v2 batteries and am receiving 9v1 with expiry date 09/2020 below

It is clearly stated that I have ordered 9v and 9v2 batteries which I believe are new or newer. However I get x2 batteries which are 9v1 and I believe the expiry date is below like 09/2020. This is for my damn smoke alarm. Of course I want new batteries with the longest and strongest lifespan. Instead I have batteries that probably sat for yours. I have opened 1 for use and it appears new yes but the shelf life has just been completely reduced as they are so old. Batteries usually have a year on them, like 4 or 5+, and mine expired last year. This is even more annoying as I have to keep another one as I won't be using it until the smoke sensor needs to be replaced again which will probably be in a few years but for now if I keep the other battery. he will die even faster. Because in a few years it will lose more charge. All in all I am unsatisfied. I don't want to deal with a return, although I should really do it because it was a waste of time and money. For a dollar or two more, I could get new ones at Walmart instead of ordering expired ones from Amazon.

Pros
  • 9V
Cons
  • Legacy model
