I use this because I don't want to have 5 or 6 different apps to manage all my devices. This product only integrates with its own proprietary application. I have confirmed this with their tech support. Now he says it will be with Google Home or Alexa, but you'll need to download and set up their app. If, like me, you have smart lightbulbs, outlets, a garage door, heater, sprinklers, and more, you need an app to control it all. .
