Easier to apply than foil. The glue stuck very well everywhere except in the middle as you can see in the photos. I had to pinch it to make it stick due to the outline of the lid. The fit is not perfect. This is especially noticeable on the sides. Aftermarket cup holders will fit as shown in photo. It is not a fingerprint magnet like the original gloss. I recommend getting everything in place before peeling the glue off and getting a feel for where it's going. Be careful with the hole in the lid next to the cup holder and don't overtighten it or it won't open. I lined everything up perfectly, wish the sides fit better. I don't like seeing gloss under matte on the edges. This is probably good advice: don't buy white. I almost bought white plastic for my interior. But it will make the gaps more visible.
