I gave five stars because it works for me. I posted it in my basement. Its size is about 400 feet. The basement is dry, but sometimes it stinks. When I put it there, the humidity was 75 degrees. I checked it the next morning, it rose to 81 degrees. Three nights after I went downstairs and checked the temp dropped to 67. So everything works, the basement no longer smells damp and musty. I don't spend hundreds of dollars on a dehumidifier and I pay my electric bills.
