These boxer shorts are marketed as comfortable and fun for little boys who love dinosaurs. While the design is certainly cute and playful, I have to say that the feel-good factor falls a little short. First, it seems that the size is small. Although I ordered a size 9-10 for my son who is a solid 9T, the underwear was a bit tight around the waist and hips. The cotton material is reasonably soft, but doesn't stretch very much, so it's not very forgiving if you're between sizes. Also, the leg openings are a little tight, which can cause discomfort if your child is active and moving around a lot. My son reported that during play he felt his briefs ride up and bunch up in the crotch so this is not ideal. On the plus side, the belt is durable and doesn't pill or dig, which is a common problem with cheap underwear. The colors and prints have held up well through multiple washes so at least they won't fade or peel. Overall I think these boxers are decent for the price but not the most comfortable option. If your child has a slim build and isn't too picky about underwear, they're probably fine with this. But if you want something that really feels like a second skin and doesn't cause irritation or discomfort, you might want to invest in a higher quality brand.
