I was very happy with these brushes. The case they are in is very sturdy and useful. The brushes look so cute - individually wrapped and with such a lovely blue on the handles. I've done a few small watercolors with them and was thrilled that they are on par with my more expensive Princeton Elite brushes. You keep the point so well! Actually, I didn't notice a big difference. I even packed my Princeton brushes thinking I'd use them for my everyday drawing! (Yes, I draw every day). Tonight I decided to use these brushes for acrylic work and then the honeymoon was officially over. Maybe this is due to the viscosity of acrylic paints, but they suddenly started shedding like crazy. I have combed strands of hair all over. When I went to wash the brushes, 8-10 strands fell out at once. It was like in a horror movie. I was so disappointed! Remember that I am an experienced painter, so I know how to take care of brushes and how to store them properly. This drop was definitely due to a manufacturer error. I used these brushes for the third time tonight and now I'm throwing them away. Very sad because they look so good on my painting table in a jar! I give two stars for the looks and the solid workmanship. Now I use a case to store my more expensive brushes. So I don't think it was a waste of time. I love other MozArt watercolor products, but stay away from this one!
