I was looking for a PEX crimping tool at my big hardware store. Both wanted a lot more money for the PEX crimping tool. Not having much to do I didn't want to spend that much money on something that probably won't be used often, especially since I only had to make two crimps to reattach some fittings to the two hoses I needed. I found and ordered the IWISS PEX crimping tool and am glad I did. It's very similar to the ones I've seen in big stores but cheaper. The quality of this instrument seems to be very high. It's factory set and has a pass/fail sensor to check it and help with adjustment when it eventually needs adjustment. The long handles are a bit wide apart at the beginning of the crimp, but once they're firm enough to grip the ratchet, you can change the position of your hands to finish the crimp. With a little care and lubrication, this tool will last and perform well. Clamping rings were not included. I ended up having to order a set because the big store didn't have the size I needed (18.5). Remember when ordering the tooling you need to check the dimensions of the ferrules you need and to order them if they are not locally available. The two connections I had to make with this tool came out perfectly and there were no leaks. when I tested them.
