The quality of these ZOOM binoculars surprised me as I found the ZOOM binoculars to work poorly. On this pair, however, Celestron has wisely limited the zoom to 35x the maximum possible, with a chuckle that comes with handheld binoculars. At the same time, they offer good image quality and eye relief in the maximum ZOOM band of this device. I have NEVER seen that! For nighttime astronomy purposes or everyday daytime use, the user will not be disappointed! Also, the included tripod mount (metal) and neck strap are of good quality, which is unusual in this price range.
