I bought these on a whim because I had RGB strips that I wasn't using and I figured my monitor's lighting would help take the strain of eyes and I wanted a clean install. They work fine, but to get them to work I had to remove the adhesive backing on the RGB lighting strip where the strip connects to them. Bending the pins to compensate didn't work at all for me, and my first attempt at installing them didn't work at all. Also, there were some connectors in my trunking package that were already soldered on. This made the connection too thick and didn't work either. If your tapes have an adhesive backing, be sure to remove the adhesive around where you want to connect, then they will fit and work.
