Works wonders for magnetic nail polish
I bought a magnet to use with magnetic polish and it works amazing: it's easier to control a bar magnet than a tiny bar magnet made for polishing. I immediately played with the magnet and took a photo with the magnetic polish on the ring finger. To achieve the cat's eye effect, I held the magnet in the exact same position as in the picture, but over the nail. You can put the wand on your other finger so you don't smear the polish, which is a huge plus for me as I always smear with a magnetic stick.
