Review on Thermaltake Pure Plus Radiator Premium by Wiktor Pozna ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, best quality.

I bought it when I saw that they support aura from asus, but I miscalculated with my motherboard asus Maximus XI Gene, because these fans have a 5 voltcomnnector for aura, and my motherboard only has a 12 volt one.Consider this before buying and check for yourself. As a result, it is impossible to use it with an aura, only with a native remotecomntrol that changes the light mode. Not critical but not pleasant. Bought three pieces, front for blowing, top for blowing and one behind for blowing. The motherboard itself regulates the speed, during normal use of thecommputer it is barely audible. Video

Pros
  • Beautiful, quiet
Cons
  • - 5 volt connector for aura (in my case this is a minus) - the self-tapping screws are not of very good quality, I barely screwed them in, on some the whole head was erased while twisting. It is better to scroll the thread before installing - they work almost silently when the computer is not loaded, but periodically, out of the blue, they begin to unwind almost to the maximum for a couple of seconds, constantly as the howling of the wind occurs. I have not solved this problem in any way, but it is very annoying. fans are not to blame for howling, the problem is in the motherboard BIOS settings! settings are not saved. I'll set the fan settings to spin faster at certain temperatures, everything works perfectly, a couple of reboots and everything works by default, wtf?
