Small changes in design can make a big difference in simple products. I already have a very similar 5 gallon plastic gas can that works great. , there is a push tab that makes opening the lid of this jar much easier. This means I have a lot less strength to open the canister when it's time to fill it. Secondly, there is a protective filter in the mouth of the gas cylinder, which helps to reduce the escape of the flame and the ingress of dirt into the container. Third, the jar includes a small filter that attaches directly to the container so it's there when you need it. Fourth, the vent/dispenser mechanism is designed for palm control. This makes it much simpler and easier to use than mechanisms that require strong finger pressure to open the spout. It also has the two standard handles that make it very handy and easy to lift and tip over when you're ready to dispense gas from a container. Overall I think this is a great gas cylinder for investment. From design details to quality and price, this would be a great way to store and transport gas.
