I bought a cheap family zoom camera. Image quality was abysmal - a ball of garbage without enough weight for the distance. So instead of taking another risk, I bought a good, highly rated product from, well, anywhere but Revain. Unfortunately, the pandemic has doubled the price until Logi can meet the new demand. And logic remains logic. So the software is still Logi. When I downloaded the driver my old driver for the old 2000 was removed (model not year - it's old) and the 2000 driver is no longer available. But the video quality is excellent. Unless you're a big pro, buy this one if you can find it for less than $50. Or try one of the similar fakes. I have a friend and the video looks great from this end. But it has a digital USB mic and it doesn't use the built-in ones, so I can't talk about audio. Update: $70 is probably the best bet right now. There are many other cheaper options. But you run the risk of getting absolute junk and returning it or getting a good deal. Now I have four cameras, three of them Logi, not 780p, and this is by far the best. Most logis like this have basically the same video quality.
