Logitech C920S Pro HD Webcam Review

So far so good. Worked great out of the box. Made a few Google Meet and Zoom calls today and it worked really well. This is the third camera I've tried (the previous two were different brands/models) and this is the best. Great performance at a good price.

The camera works as advertised but costs $259.99, 3.5 times the regular $69.99 advertised online. Logitech website. The price was pushed to the limit.

To be honest I had high hopes for this camera. It has noticeable lag and autofocus issues, particularly in Google Meets or Zoom. It requires downloading 1-2 additional programs and watching threads or a few YouTube videos to even come close to fixing it, and yet it has just enough blur, it's not quite what I was hoping for from a webcam . I spend 85% of my working day in front of the camera and it didn't live up to expectations, I was very disappointed. I am using a Macbook Pro 13 inch 2020.

Bought to replace a C930e I gave to a teacher's family member who *really* needed a good webcam for virtual learning. This webcam image is ok but not great. Not what I would have expected from an HD camera. There is also no zoom function. For over 200€ I expected much more.

We use this camera with our desktop computer about 15 times a week for various web meetings. This is a big improvement over Zoomin on my iPad. The resolution isn't perfect, but it's better or as good as any other camera in our meetings. The microphone is also very reliable. We both sit about four to four feet from the camera mic and it picks up our voices perfectly the whole time. More money than many cameras on the market, but we're glad we got it.

I bought this camera to use with a desktop computer without a camera or microphone. I use it with both Apple home computers and PCs, both Zoom and Microsoft TEAMS. On the first day of using this camera, the image quality was acceptable. Nothing like advertising, but I didn't care. The next day I used the camera, the image quality deteriorated significantly. I couldn't understand why. I changed the lighting. Tries to focus manually. I even installed the Logitech camera app (although I firmly believe no product should need a virus to work). Nothing could fix the INCREDIBLE blur. I finally got it. The camera only focuses on faces within 1.5 feet of the lens.

I bought a cheap family zoom camera. Image quality was abysmal - a ball of garbage without enough weight for the distance.
