Review on Optimized Kids Mermaid Monofin Swim Fin by FINIS by Evan Calvert

My 9 year old daughter loves mermaids so she wanted the whole costume for her birthday so she can feel like a mermaid. I was a bit afraid to buy the whole suit for safety reasons, so I went in search of cheap fins that have good reviews. I found this to be one of the cheapest deals on Revain and had great reviews for the most part. My daughter opened it and absolutely loved it, as did all the other little girls at the party. Pink and purple were a plus because those are her favorite colors. She wears large girls' shoes in size 2 and still has room under the heel. I liked that it has a strap that is easy to undo in an emergency. The cover itself is made of hard plastic. I've read some reviews of others breaking in half but after a month of use ours looks a bit bent from standing on it in the pool but it's not broken or cracked. One thing I would recommend is to keep it separate so the back strap will dry out and therefore not get damaged between other pool toys. I would definitely recommend it to all little mermaid lovers. I would not recommend it for children swimming in an overhead pool or who are too small to unbuckle the emergency harness themselves.
