Review on InstaTrim IT05INWHT InstaTrim 1 Self Adhesive Countertops by David Reyes

This is a true and honest review; I bought this at full price and nobody asked me to write this but I think everyone should know about this product. My husband and I recently bought a home and found that the previous owners had used many, many cuts, including a granite countertop that did not protrude from under the bulkhead. They "solved" this by layering grout (no structure underneath) and then silicone sealant which was sloppy and peeling due to the crumbling grout underneath. I did a little research and came across Instatrim. After removing the old caulk and grout with a grout tool, I cleaned the remaining silicone with a razor blade and mineral spirits. IF YOU HAVE SILICONE, THIS IS THE KEY OR NOTHING HELPS! Once the tile and granite were clean, I stripped off the instatrim and pinned it in place with a grout tool. So easy! It covered the gap BEAUTIFULLY and now our apron is actually waterproof. The bonus is that this is a family business, made in the USA and uses recycled packaging and non-toxic materials. 10/10 would buy again.
