A year ago I bought 2 solar powered spotlights which were perfect for my application. The light is said to stay in a dimmed mode throughout the night, getting brighter when motion is detected. One lightbulb worked fine and still works as it should. The other light will only last about an hour. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement, same thing, replacement only takes about an hour. I contacted the seller again and just received a refund for the bad light. As a result, I got a light that stays on all night, every night, and 2 lamps that stay on for just an hour. I decided to roll the dice and buy these panels, not knowing if the problem was the battery or the solar panels. I swapped the plates in both lanterns, left them in the sun for a day, and now both bad lanterns glow at dusk and burn until sunrise. The original plates were 150 x 144 mm and these are 150 x 130 mm. They fit in the frame on one side and leave a small gap on the other side, which isn't a problem at all, I'm just glad they work the way they're supposed to.
